THE FOUR SPIRITUAL LAWS

LAWS: Just as there are physical laws that govern the universe, there are also spiritual laws that govern our relationship with God.

God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should have

believe should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

GOD'S PLAN
Christ states, "I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (an abundant and purposeful life).

(John 10:10)

Why aren't most people experiencing this "abundant life"?

THE LOVE OF GOD

Man is sinful and separated from God; therefore, he cannot know or experience God's love and plan for his life.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God..." (Romans 3:23)

Man was created to have a perfect relationship with God, but because of his disobedience and rebellion, he chose to go his own way, and his relationship with God was broken. This state of independence from God, characterized by an attitude of rebellion or indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

MAN IS SEPARATED
"For the wages of sin is death..." (spiritual separation from God) (Romans 6:23)

God is holy, and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. Man continually seeks to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts: righteous living, good works, religion, philosophies, etc.

The Third Law shows us the only answer to the problem of this separation...

MAN IS A SINNER

Jesus Christ is God's only solution for sinful man.
Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

HE DIED IN OUR PLACE
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD
"Christ died for our sins... He was buried, He was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures... He appeared to Peter, then to the Twelve, and after that He appeared to more than five hundred..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6)

HE IS THE ONLY WAY
"Jesus answered him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (John 14:6)

God took the initiative to bridge the gap that separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place, paying the price for our sins.

But it is not enough to just know these three laws...

The fourth completes the cycle of salvation:

JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY SOLUTION

RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR AND LORD

WE NEED TO RECEIVE CHRIST

"Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." (John 1:12), (he gave them the power to become children)

WE RECEIVE CHRIST BY FAITH
"For it is by grace you have been saved through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

WE RECEIVE CHRIST BY A PERSONAL INVITATION
Christ states: "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in..." (Revelation 3:20)

Receiving Christ implies repentance, it means ceasing to trust in our ability to save ourselves, believing that Jesus Christ is the only one who can forgive our sins.
It's not enough to intellectually believe that Jesus is the Son of God and died on the cross for our sins, or to have an emotional experience. We receive Christ by faith, through a personal decision.

YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST RIGHT NOW IN PRAYER

(Praying is talking to God).

God knows your heart and is more interested in your heart's attitude than your words. The following prayer serves as an example:

Pray this prayer right now, with a sincere heart, and Christ will enter your life, as He promised.

PRAY LIKE THIS…
“Lord Jesus, I need You. I thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take charge of my life and make me the kind of person You want me to be.”

THE BIBLE PROMISES ETERNAL LIFE TO ALL WHO RECEIVE CHRIST
“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:11-13).

Always thank God that Christ lives in your life and that He will never leave you (Hebrews 13:5). You can know that the living Christ lives in your life, and that you have eternal life, from the moment you invited Him, based on His promise.

He doesn't disappoint.
